We are implementing four power producing bicycles in the Wade King Student Recreation Center. The technology will help offset energy normally used to run the machines and instead harness the energy to sustain the machine's functions during the workout and after. By having the technology in the Recreation Center, it will educate students about alternative ways to reduce their carbon footprint, while providing them with a first-hand knowledge of how much elecricity is used to power their daily lives. We hope that the Wade King: Student Recreation Center will continue implementing this type of equipment in the future.
